Whole wheat pancakes
Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
Melted Butter- 2 tbsp
Egg-1
Baking powder-1/4 tsp
Baking soda- a pinch
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Sugar-1 tbsp
Milk- 1 cup
Vanilla extract- few drops
Beat egg with salt, sugar, baking powder and vanilla extract. To this add milk 1/2 cup and add flour to this little by little while mixing. Bring it to slightly thicker dosa batter consistency. You can add more milk if reqd. Let this sit for minimum 30 mts. Heat the griddle and start making pancakes. You can make pancakes in advance and let sit in a warmed oven covered.
Serve warm with maple syrup topped with a dollop of butter.
You can add berries to choco-chip to the batter.
