Chicken breast piece - 1/4 kg
Shallots - 4 nos.
Garlic -6 pods
Green chillies- 2 Nos.
Pepper powder- 1 tbsp
Fennel- 1 tsp
oil -  2 tsp

Soak chicken pieces in a brine of salt water overnight. This gives a juicy meat. 
Heat oil in a pan, add fennel seeds and then shallots sauté till onion turns pink add green chillies and garlic. Fry for 2-3 mts then add chicken pieces. Coat the chicken while tossing. Add salt and pepper powder.
Cook covered for 5 mts. Check if the chicken is done poking the chicken piece with a fork it should pass through the meat soft and tender.
