Besan/Chickpea flour- 2 1/2 cups
Rice flour- 1 cup
Salt to taste
Soak and grind- 8 red chillies, 1 tsp peppercorns and 7 garlic and strain the water
Cream 1 tsp of ghee and 2 pinches of baking soda.
Knead everything to a soft dough.
Press it through the murukku press in hot oil. Break them into pieces while it is still being fried. This results in uneven edges of karasev.
