Tomato oats



Boil 1 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan. Add 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats, 10 nos. of almonds, 10 nos. of walnuts. Finely chop 1 ripe vine tomato, crushed fennel seeds 1/2 tsp, a pinch of turmeric powder, 1/4 " inch grated ginger, 1 green chilli and mint  say 3 leaves minced. Cook for about 4 mts. until completely cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves. Add few drops of lemon juice to balance the taste. This tastes best with coconut chutney.
