Onion big in size- 1 (preferably shallots 8 finely chopped)
Tomatoes-5-6 nos.- diced
curry leaves- 1 sprig
Green Chillies -2 finely chopped
Oil- 4 tbsp
Aounty Bhurko/Powder- 4 tbsps.
Wash and cut the tomatoes. Take a pressure pan add oil saute onion,curry leaves, green chillies and then add finely chopped tomatoes. Add salt to it. Stir and cook this until the oil oozes out.
Meanwhile mix the Aounty Bhurko with enough water to make a runny liquid consistency. Add this to the cooked tomatoes in pan, check for salt. Bring to a boil. This is left to simmer till it thickens and the raw aroma of the Bhurko fades out. But this is easily achieved closing the cooker after it boils and cook it for 1 whistle.
