ONION CHUTNEY

ONION CHUTNEY:

INGREDIENTS

Shallots- 10
Channa Dal- 2 Tbsp
Ripe wine tomatoes - 2
Red Chillies - 10
Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Coriander leaves - little
Oil - 2 tsp

Heat Oil in a pan, saute Channa dal, red chillies, asafoetida, curry leaves, coriander leaves, shallots, tomatoes adding one after the other. Add salt to taste.
Grind to the fine paste.
Temper it with Mustard oil, Urad dal.
